S.W.’s Verdict
Hopkins makes the screen feel dangerous without raising his voice. The FBI procedural structure holds everything together, and Demme never lets the horror outrun the investigation. Rewatchable in the way a locked room is interesting — you remember why you went in, and you remember wanting to leave.
