S.W.’s Verdict
Safdie makes table tennis feel like a blood sport and Chalamet disappears into a hustler who can't stop sabotaging himself. The pacing is intentionally suffocating. Paltrow as a fading socialite is the casting decision nobody saw coming and everybody needed. Loses a few structural threads in the middle but recovers with a final act that earns its silence.
