S.W.’s Verdict
Johnson tried to burn Star Wars down and rebuild it, which is admirable until you realize the new foundation is a casino subplot and a hyperdrive kamikaze that breaks the universe's physics. Adam Driver carries the emotional weight. The rest is a two-and-a-half-hour argument about whether legacy franchises deserve mercy.
