Zootopia 2 (2025)

Expands the world competently. New districts, new characters, familiar dynamics. The humor lands consistently and the animation is flawless. But the thematic punch of the original — genuinely uncomfortable metaphors about prejudice delivered through cartoon animals — is replaced by something safer and more sequelly. You'll enjoy it in the theater. You won't think about it in the parking lot.
