S.W.’s Verdict
Fargeat takes the Hollywood youth obsession and runs it through a meat grinder, literally. Moore commits to a role that most actors her age would never touch and makes it uncomfortable in exactly the right ways. The body horror escalation is relentless and occasionally inspired. Loses some discipline in the final act when it decides subtlety was never the point, but the first two-thirds are genuinely unnerving.
