S.W.’s Verdict
Conmen and FBI agents play dress-up in the 1970s. The cast is excellent individually but the film can't decide what it wants to be. Russell's direction is energetic enough to paper over structural problems for about 90 minutes. The remaining 48 minutes are less forgiving.
