A structural catastrophe from one of cinema's great structural minds. Coppola spent decades and $120 million of his own money building something that doesn't know what it is. The ambition is visible. The execution is chaos. Driver acts at full intensity into a void. Plaza steals scenes from a film that can't keep track of which scenes exist. Fascinating as wreckage, incoherent as cinema.
