Persona (1966)

Two women. One talks. One does not. Bergman strips cinema to its bones and finds something underneath that most directors never reach. The film burns through its own celluloid halfway through — literally — and then continues as if nothing happened. Dense, demanding, and shorter than most Marvel movies.
