Ratatouille (2007)

Pixar's thesis statement disguised as a children's movie about a rat who cooks. The film argues that greatness can come from anywhere and then proves it by being one of the most structurally precise animated films ever made. Every setup pays off. Every character has an arc. Ego's review speech is the single best piece of writing about criticism that mainstream cinema has ever produced. Works for children because the rat is cute. Works for adults because the rat is right.
