S.W.’s Verdict
Lifeless, poorly paced, and devoid of the gothic romanticism that made the original worth mourning. Skarsgard broods without purpose. FKA Twigs exists without chemistry. The action arrives late and delivers nothing that justifies the wait. A remake that answers a question nobody asked with an answer nobody wanted. The original's legacy deserved better than this.
