Miller builds outward where Fury Road compressed. The result is more epic and less feral — a different animal, not a lesser one. Taylor-Joy carries the silent rage convincingly. Hemsworth's villain is theatrical enough to work. The young Furiosa sections are the film's backbone. It doesn't match Fury Road's sustained adrenaline, but it was never going to. The Wasteland remains one of cinema's great constructed worlds.
