S.W.’s Verdict
Hardy talks to himself for two hours and occasionally punches things. The franchise ends exactly as it arrived: chaotically, without coherent purpose, and with enough weird energy to prevent total boredom. The villain situation remains unsolvable. The tone remains unplaceable. Sony's Spider-Man-adjacent universe ends not with a bang or a whimper but with a shrug, which is somehow the most honest conclusion it could have reached.
