S.W.’s Verdict
Gunn builds a Superman who actually believes in something, which is more than most recent DC entries can claim. Corenswet has the jaw and the earnestness. Brosnahan's Lois is sharp enough to carry the quieter scenes. The film overstuffs itself with universe setup, which is the disease not the cure, but there's a genuine pulse underneath the franchise machinery. You'll leave feeling something. You won't remember exactly what by Thursday.
