S.W.’s Verdict
Ezra Miller runs fast enough to break the multiverse but not fast enough to outrun a script that collapses under its own ambition. The Michael Keaton Batman nostalgia works exactly once, then the film asks you to care about CGI babies falling from the sky. The uncanny valley cameos of dead and retired actors are ghoulish in a way the filmmakers clearly didn't intend. Structurally, it's two decent ideas and four terrible ones competing for screen time.
