Reminders of Him (2026)

The third Colleen Hoover adaptation and the first one that doesn't actively insult its source material. The story of a young mother rebuilding her life after prison has genuine emotional weight when the film trusts its actors, which it does about sixty percent of the time. The other forty percent is manipulative scoring and slow-motion crying. The performances carry what the script can't. It's fine. The audience it was made for will cry. Everyone else will check their phone.
