A two-hour nostalgia delivery system that knows it is a nostalgia delivery system and expects credit for the self-awareness. Reynolds does the thing. Jackman does the other thing. The multiverse excuse allows cameos to function as the plot. If you have been waiting for this specific pairing, it works. If you have not, it is loud.
